One of the things that appears to be particularly mysterious about our existence is the possibility that we can manifest reality by using the power of our minds.
Of course this approach to life – if that's what it is – was popularized in The Secret by Rhonda Byrne, a television programme, film and book published around 2006. Now a lot of people have found fault with The Secret, for all kinds of reasons ranging from sheer downright stupidity to cynicism and disbelief engendered by fear or scepticism.
Well, interestingly enough, The Secret is only the latest in a long line of books and articles about manifestation, written by people who are in the know, over centuries of human history.
One of the most interesting things about manifestation in law of attraction is that actually there is nothing mysterious or magical about it. Indeed, one of the things that surprises people who master the art of manifestation is the ease with which they can create a different reality to the one that they currently have in their lives.
I suppose the concept that we can actually change reality by exerting the power of our minds is so radical and unusual forests that we probably don't pay much credence in everyday life.
When all's said and done, we are brought up to
believe that life is a struggle, that actually achievements are made
mostly through hard work and graft, and that certain cynical principles
apply to our existence like "the rich get richer", money is the root of
all evil and so on.
It's true to say that many of us grow up believing that life is a struggle, that life is hard, that nothing will come easily to us.
It's no surprise, I think you'll agree, that if you hold such fundamentally negative beliefs about the world and your position in it, then you are going to live a life that is fundamentally limited in every way.
How then can one possibly breakout of limitation, limiting thinking, and limited belief systems?
By the way, what you have to understand about the expression "limited belief systems" is the proposition that every single one of us is running an entire set of belief systems which are designed to keep us in a place of limitation, lack, or lack of achievement.
I know that something like this is hard to hear: but I'm sure you'd agree that if you look around you, every single thing that you see around you in the world today is the product of some aspect of your thinking.
None of us are victims, we all have the same fundamental powers when we are born. It's just that circumstances dictate that certain people can use their powers better than others. Find out more from a wonderful website about manifestation and the law of attraction.
Well, at least that's what most people believe! In reality, the truth of the matter is that every single one of us has the power to use our natural human nature and a natural human ability in ways that go far beyond anything we can currently imagine.
Just think of the possibilities that are open to you if you actually could combine the powers of some of the great people in history, such as Napoleon Hill, Dale Carnegie, Henry Ford, President Eisenhower, Winston Churchill, Gandhi, Nelson Mandela, and other figures who you might see as heroes.
What you think is the difference between those men – and, in the field of women we have Mother Theresa, Florence Nightingale, Margaret Thatcher, Indira Gandhi, and many other unsung heroes (or villains) – and those women and you?
Well, I'm going to reveal the answer to that question, and you better prepare yourself for a shock.
It's nothing. Nothing that would separate you from the attracting energy which could bring whatever you want towards you.
There is absolutely no difference whatsoever between the attractive energy of any of those people and you - except that they chose to use their power, or somebody showed them how to do so, and they then used their power to the fullest extent possible.
Now just imagine what this might mean for you if you are able to summon up the kind of energy and use it as and power that these men and women used in their lives.
Do you think you would be living an average life, or would you be manifesting reality which showed you the possibilities open to you in every area of your existence?
One of course that's a stupid question in one sense
– the answer is absolutely obvious, crystal-clear, very simple stop if you
are not exercising your full human power then you're denying you humanity,
and you are probably also expressing some belief system that you're
holding in your subconscious about your position in life and the
relationship of the world to you and your expectations.
